Thanks for sharing your thoughts, Duncan, I really enjoyed reading this post and definitely mirror your feelings about Gnomedex. It was very nice getting to meet you, maybe we will see you in Seattle again for 2009.

If you want to do an Ignite in Melbourne, I'm up for it.

I'm based in Adelaide, but I'm going to Melbourne to talk Quartz Composer (Apple Dev Tool for 3d graphics) to programmers at the Dev/World conference and to digital artists at the ElectroFringe festival in Newcastle.

I feel the way you do. I think Gnomedex is awesome, and precisely because there are no VCs to pollute the presentations. I hope you can come back!

Sounds like a bit of fun. Have you ever been to Pubcon? That's one conference I would like to go to.
