On another note, how did you find GameOn? I had been thinking of heading into the city to check it out but not had a chance yet.

Not bad, not sure it was worth the $40 for the 3 of us. Make sure you've got plenty of time free, you could easily spend up being there for hours, lots of classic games

Faced with the same problem as you had at the same exhibition, I did the next best thing - whipped out my mobile phone and recorded audio as I walked from one end of the exhibit to another - lingering lovingly on exhibits like the Poly Play and the clothes worn by Max Payne.

Unfortunately my mob. was set to record on a crap quality format, so it was good enough to make the folks back home seriously contemplate buying an airticket and flying to Melbourne - but not good enough to turn into an audiofile to post on my blog.

May think of doing it later though...

A fact of life I'm afraid Duncan.
Be it terrorists or convention organisers, a lot of the (innocent) fun and enjoyment we had growing up, is just not there for the young'ns these days. A real shame.

Many mothers-to-be insist on having maternity shirts but you can save some money and buy big shirts instead. I had a favorite switzerland clothing shirt which I wore during most of my pregnancy; it was not a maternity shirt, I took it with discount from a large clothing store.
